maybe beauty is only skin deep, but that smile has to count for something doesn't it? ^_^
I know there are many of you out there who would say that I need
to see a psychiatrist, but, kids, this is not America, and we are not rich.
Take a look in a mirror and tell me, honestly, completely truly, without a shadow of a
doubt, that you are happy with your life, that there is absolutely nothing at all you
would want to change. If you can do that then quite frankly you're weirder than I am.
Sometimes we all want something more than we have, to be rid of the boring repetitiveness
that is our life. Many of us find happiness through escapism into books or t.v.,
imagining we are one of the amazing ones who saves the world or falls in love, true love,
or it could just be that we make a new friend . . . But sooner or later we loose interest
in the imaginary things and we want something special, something real to
hold on to in a world full of shadows and illusions.
A lot of the time we end up looking to someone else to sort out our problems but the only
thing that really works is to deal with them outselves, to start our own lives anew,
there's no other way it can work. If you want something more than life itself then
you have to work and fight and try your hardest to make it happen, to make it real.
After all, how can you be happy when you haven't at least tried?
That's why I'm here, I'm biding my time, preparing for the day I leave it all behind.
But tell me, what happens when your dreams become reality, what do you do then?
